Drivers, mechanics, participants and fans: rules for each respective division are posted for your convenience here on the website. We urge you to carefully read the general and safety rules as well as rules for your division. We have tried to make racing as competitive, affordable, and safe as possible for all racers and fans. The speedway rules and procedures are explained in detail. The management of the speedway wishes all of you a successful and safe racing season.
Section 1 SAFETY RULES 1-1 All drivers think safety first! NO short sleeves, and NO shorts! Fire suit, racing gloves, and shoes highly recommended. 1-2 All cars MUST have working fire extinguisher within reach of driver. 1-3 All competitors must wear a helmet anytime on track. 1-4 Please use a factory manufactured racing seat. Seat must be properly installed and seat backrest cannot be moved back further than the trailing edge of the door. 1-5 Racing harness required. Must be in good condition and track official approved. 1-6 Roll cage must be constructed of no less than 1-1/2” seamless steel tubing with a minimum wall thickness of .090. The cage must be welded to frame in at least four places. 1-7 No bars outside of car and all bars within reach of driver must be padded. 1-8 Fuel cell must be mounted securely with a minimum of two straps going under and/or over fuel cell. 1-9 All cars must have three windshield bars in front of driver. 1-10 Must have drive shaft loop within 12 inches of tail of transmission, and drive shaft must be painted WHITE. 1-11 All added weight must be securely fastened and must be painted white with driver’s car number written on weight. 1-12 Window nets are highly recommended for all classes. Must be securely mounted with tension when fastened. 1-13 Battery must be enclosed in box and mounted securely. 1-14 All holes in fire walls must be covered - front and rear. 1-15 All cars with flat tires will be black flagged.
All cars will be inspected before going on track. Any car deemed unsafe will not be allowed on track. Decisions of track officials are final.
