ER-1 Cars must have a wheel base of 105” or less. ER-2 All glass, chrome, plastic, mirrors, door handles and flammable material must be removed. ER-3 Doors must be welded or bolted shut. ER-4 Driver protection bars in windshield in front of driver is highly recommended. ER-5 Frame mounted cage or loop with driver’s door plate recommended. Bars may protrude through firewall. Bars and bracing must stay inside body panels. Bars within driver’s range needs to be padded. Think safety first! ER-6 Window nets are recommended. ER-7 Body panels must stay stock as possible, hood and trunk will be on car at all times. ER-8 Cars must have complete stock unaltered floorboard and front firewall, with all holes filled with non-flammable material. Rear firewall must be metal in stock location. ER-9 Lap and shoulder strap mandatory but made for racing seat, and seatbelts highly recommended. Helmet required. Long pants and shirts are required. ER-10 Tow chains on front and back of car, capable of lifting the car. ER-11 Stock-type bumpers only, no sharp edges or protruding bumpers allowed. ER-12 No radios or mirrors allowed. ER-13 Fire extinguisher in every car or pit area, at least 1 per car. ER-14 Battery will be an enclosed marine box (if inside car) and fastened securely. ER-15 Break pedal and master cylinder must be in original position. No after-market braking systems. ER-16 Must have functional brakes on all four wheels. Non adjustable from drivers seat. ER-17 No modifying of suspension or frame. Adjustable suspension is optional. Fender wells may be trimmed for tire clearance. ER-18 No locking trans-axels. ER-19 Computer must hit rev-limiter. ER-20 No turbo’s or n.o.s. ER-21 No aftermarket high performance parts allowed except for seat, seatbelts, safety equipment, cold air box and headers. ER-22 All engines must be 4 cylinder and remain stock. No Mazda rotary engines of any type. ER-23 Safety first speed second! ER-24 Stock ignition only! ER-25 Oil coolers allowed.
