PS-1 Any American made car with a stock wheel base of at least 108”. PS-2 All glass, chrome, plastic, mirrors, door handles and flammable material must be removed. PS-3 Doors must be welded or bolted shut. PS-4 Minimum of 3 driver protection bars of 3/8” is required in windshield in front of driver. PS-5 Frame mounted with at least a 4 point (6 point highly recommended) roll cage with 3 or more driver bars and 2 or more passenger bars. Bars may protrude through firewall. Bars and bracing must stay inside body panels. Bars within drivers range needs to be padded. PS-6 Window nets are highly recommended. PS-7 Body panels must stay stock as possible, hood and trunk will be on car at all times. PR-8 Cars must have complete stock unaltered floorboard and front firewall, with all holes filled with non flammable material. Rear firewall must be metal in stock location. NO excessive decking in cockpit PS-9 Made for racing seat, seatbelts, and full driver suit and racing helmet required. PS-10 Tow chains on front and back of car, capable of lifting the car. PS-11 Stock type bumpers only, no sharp edges or protruding bumpers allowed. PS-12 No radios or mirrors allowed. PS-13 Fire extinguisher in every car or pit area, at least 1 per car. PS-14 Battery will be an enclosed marine box and fasten securely. PS-15 Break pedal and master cylinder must be in original position. No aftermarket braking systems. PS-16 Must have functional brakes on all four wheels. Non adjustable from drivers seat. PS-17 No modifying of suspension or frame, with the exception of the right front wheel may lean out. All stock suspension parts with the exception of racing springs and shocks for safety, but will all be in stock location. Springs to be secured from falling out by straps, chain or wire. PS-18 Stock rear end or Ford 9” optional may be locked. NO floaters! Stock upper and lower control arms in stock location. PS-19 Engine and transmission may be mounted solid, but in stock location. PS-20 One gas carburetor (no alcohol) with no more than 4 barrels. NO dual line or double pump. Maximum adaptor plate will be 1”. NO exotic carburetors (Predators ect.). If running quad jet, it must be stock. MUST run gas only. NO electric fuel pump! PS-21 Cast iron exhaust, may run headers (under chassis type) for easy application of muffler. PS-22 Stock cast iron heads (no aftermarket type), cast iron intake and block required. GM to GM...... PS-23 Hydraulic cams only! Must idle smoothly! No roller rockers! No made for racing parts! PS-24 Stock ignition, stock type distributor, HEI cap ok, NO MSD’S or Malorey or Magnetoes! PS-25 All oil must remain inside of oil pan, no dry sumps, no oil coolers allowed. PS-26 Stock automatic transmissions only with a minimum 11” working torque converter.
